Our commitment

AnyScience is committed to making our platform accessible to people with disabilities. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our platform and to apply relevant accessibility standards.

Our standard

AnyScience is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we work through anything that falls short as soon as we find it.

How to use AnyScience with your assistive tools

No settings need to be changed on our site. Accessibility adjustments happen at your operating system or browser level, where they work best.

What we have built

The following accessibility features are in place across the platform:

  • Keyboard navigation throughout, including a skip-to-content link
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • ARIA landmark regions, roles, and live regions
  • Screen reader announcements for dynamic content — loading states, filter changes, tab switches
  • Colour contrast meeting WCAG 2.1 AA for primary and secondary text
  • Animations respect the operating system's Reduce Motion preference
  • Icons and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
  • Form inputs have associated labels; error messages are announced immediately

If any part of AnyScience is difficult for you to use, contact us and we will provide the information or function another way.

Technical approach

AnyScience is built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. Our accessibility work targets VoiceOver on macOS and iOS and NVDA on Windows.
